Piyush Raichura 4. Holiday Inn Goa Candolim. Guest User 4. The experience was good overall. The staff are helpful and the grounds are good. The location is amazing, a 2 minutes walk to the beach and on the end of a main road full or shops and bars. Aguada Anchorage - the Villa Resort, Candolim. We were five people. The assigned villa was spacious and very nice. The beds are very big and clean. Rooms with air conditioning and private bathroom.
Daily cleaning. One day we ordered dinner and it was very tasty. The best thing about the stay was the staff, they were very friendly at all times. Their warm smiles and eagerness to assist made us feel like royalty.
The food was nothing short of extraordinary; every dish was a masterpiece, a symphony of flavors that delighted our taste buds. However, it was the Pomfret fish that stole the show. Cooked to perfection, it set new standards for seafood excellence. The freshness, the seasoning, the presentation — everything about it was impeccable.
The creativity and skill behind each dish were evident, making our dining experience truly unforgettable. I also must highlight the pristine private beach that Santana Beach Resort boasts. The beach, meticulously maintained and wonderfully secluded, provided a serene escape. The sand was soft beneath our feet, and the waters were crystal clear, inviting us for leisurely strolls and peaceful sunsets.
It was a rare gem, offering the perfect balance of natural beauty and tranquility. I must commend the owner, Mr. Verner Da Costa Frias, whose down-to-earth demeanor and genuine passion for ensuring his guests have an unforgettable experience truly set Santana Beach Resort apart.
Despite his busy schedule, he was always accessible and went above and beyond to assist us. His recommendations for the best places to visit in Goa were invaluable, offering us a chance to explore the true essence of this vibrant destination.
His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our preferences were met added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. The resort itself is a testament to meticulous maintenance. The pools are not just refreshing, but also impeccably clean, inviting guests to unwind and bask in the luxury of their surroundings.
It embodies the essence of Goan hospitality, offering a perfect ble. A little piece of paradise in Goa. We had a gorgeous cottage with a small garden surrounded by tropical foliage with a view of the sea. Absolutely spotless, room service was amazing particularly in the evening where there was always a lovely bed message, foot bowl or small gift and often times a delicious cake was left for us. There was always a buggy available to go anywhere in the resort. The adults pool was quiet and breezy with a view of the sea, Sadee was on hand to help at the pool, always with a smile and very gracious.
Facilities of the adjacent Taj Aguda can be used including the pool and restaurants and transport is readily available. The Banyan Tree restaurant is at the doorstep of the hotel and serves delicious food. A word of constructive criticism: The Caravela Restaurant is one of the nicest locations on the sea anywhere in the world.
However the decor desperately needs updating on the terrace to make it more enticing to guests and give a 5 star feel. Also the toilets opposite the Caravela are in desperate need of renovation.
The location of this hotel and its grounds are world class and we would definitely return. Thank you for helping us with the odd small issue we encountered. Whispering Palms Beach Resort.
This was our first visit to this hotel. We had previously stayed in Candolim a number of times. The location is very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The food is excellent and the chefs are happy to offer alternatives, when required. The actual menu could be a little more varied, at times, with pork and lamb not really on offer bacon is available for breakfast!
The hotel staff are friendly and greet customers on sight. Apart from some waiting staff, most hotel employees are also very helpful. The violinist and drummers are a unique touch, greeting new arrivals, but perhaps they begin to grate over a longer stay!
However, they are in need of updating as they tend to be rather gloomy, the drawer space is almost non-existent and the attached en-suite, while functional, is cramped and not very appealing. For football lovers, all matches EPL can be viewed, albeit some at inconvenient times!
In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel, especially for couples of any age. Acron Candolim Regina. Naveen K. I stayed at Fortune Acron R. It is a great place to stay for the following reasons: 1. Sincere, affable and courteous to the core.
This hotel is a great place because of these youngsters and others making up the staff in Fortune Acron. Great Location- Just metres from Candolim Beach.
And there is a shuttle service of Wagon R s operated by extremely polite and full of info about the town drivers- Rama, Vijay and Robert. Three great guys! Rama even loaned me Rs. And he never asked for it till I paid him! This shows character of the place!
So thank you Rama, Vijay and Robert. Dining staff- Rohit Barnwal is amazing, and is the most charming of them all in this hotel. The bartender Anjan is cheerful and a great guy to talk to. So were Neeteesh, Nirjala, Sheen ,Vikram and others whom I dont recollect but were amazing every single day.
Prithiviraj and Apoorva at the reception are elegant and very friendly. So are the young ladies whose names are escaping me at the moment.
